So good yet so busy

Well, this is a bit annoying in a good way.

Whilst thinking about trying to ask someone if they'd like to meet up for a "maybe-date" I went into my calendar to find the next weekend I'm free. Turns out it's July. Mid-July if I'm planning to go to London and Derby Prides.

So, much like when shopping for shoes (when you're size 12 it's rare to get more than 3 options from an entire shop), it's now probably easier to ask "Who is free/Wants to join me" rather than trying to hunt out specific encounters with people.

So, this is what I have planned. Comment or contact if you'd like to join in *smiles*


May 8th / 9th @ Oxford
In Oxford with miss_amaranth. Saturday evening is busy with meeting new poly people in Oxford (thank you OkCupid!). Sunday would be a good day if you fancy visiting the flat we have yet to name.

May 15th / 16th @ Oxford
Me and miss_amaranth are planning on lots of cheap activities throughout the weekend (Swimming, Oxford Botanical Gardens, Museums, Bowling).

May 22nd / 23rd @ Leicester
Coming out to my parents as poly over this weekend so will be in Derby. Will be at the Big Bi Fun Day and hope to see lots of you there!

May 29th / 30th @ Birmingham & Oxford
Birmingham Pride on the Saturday, lazy Sunday planned. Company very welcome at both.

June 5th / 6th @ London
Booked solid already. Party in London on Friday and then another one in Reading on Saturday and then going around the Fetish Fair on Sunday. Coffee in London could probably be done on the Sunday though. Or someone who would like to join me and miss_amaranth exploring the fair would be very welcome...

June 12th / 13th @ Oxford
Oxford Pride. Crash space totally available if you want to come as well as a relaxing Sunday.

June 19th / 20th @ Oxford
miss_amaranth's birthday party.

June 26th / 27th | Unavailable |
At the Pirate Punting and BBQ in Cambridge. Details in above post.

July 3rd / 4th @ London and/or Oxford
London Pride on the Saturday. Would love to either have or be guests on Sunday.
Edit: There's a CCK Social on the Friday which I'll probably be going to.

July 10th / 11th @ Derby | Quite likely Unavailable |
Derby Pride on the Saturday. Tentative plan is to spend weekend with parents to see how they've taken the whole poly thing.

July 17th / 18th
First empty weekend. Feel free to busy me up though *grin*

Fingers crossed, the plan is to come out to Dad first (if he's shocked at all, I will be too) and see how he feels about telling mum.

Might not be so bad , not all parents are blinkered, narrow-minded or unreasonable. After all it was around in our young days too, even tho people didnt talk about it too much. We are the generation that invented the "swinging sixties" you know!!

I most likely won't bother with Notts, it's a little too far just for Pride (I'm only going to Derby because of parents) and the trains are too slow for a day trip.
