Civilization: The Card Game

So that card game I mentioned in the last post? It's actually pretty sweet. For those who know, it's like a halfway house between Settlers of Catan and Dominion. Build empire, gather resources, spend them on buildings and population and land and then use your soldiers to steal population or destroy opponents buildings.

Also, for I know some of you really prefer cooperation to competition (as do I) I came across a game called Pandemic which is a cooperative race against 4 deadly viruses that threaten to wipe out humanity. It's an all win/all lose setup so there's actually zero competition. There's some good reviews on it too so maybe it's something worth saving up for...

We have the Catan card game, but haven't yet played it. I guess that'll be halfway between Settlers and the Civ card game!
