What I Did Over Easter
So the last few days have been busy, amazing and relaxing, in more or less that order.
Good Friday I took the Oxford Tube down to Victoria before catching the Terravision over to Stansted Airport, off to meet the wonderful DD. After over an-hour-and-a-half at arrivals I finally laid eyes on her again after far too long. Looking very upset, it turned out the poor lass had been interrogated by the Border Agency. A very intense cuddle later we made our way to the coach back to London. Incidentally, Terravision are an awesome company and if you ever need to get to/from an airport I can't recommend them enough. The coach was full of Italians, much to DD's delight.
We caught up a little on the bus, mainly about what had happened at the airport. Numerous plans have been formed with how to spend time together, including seeing The Warhorse, a wander around all the tourist spots in London and, of course, a trip around Oxford.
Very sadly, but understandably, she couldn't be tempted back to Oxford for my birthday party. I met up with my beloved
miss_amaranth and
lord_don and got a lift back up to Oxford. The party itself was a success, the Spiceorama despite being under new management as tasty as ever. It was great seeing the rest the clan (
anarchist_nomad,
cheschcat and
bunnypip) as well as a surprise visit from
alexn4561. After the meal, karaoke ensued. Note: Barry White should cover more Bee Gee's.
Sunday was much more sedate, as was Monday.
